etiCloud sign three-year ‘Affiliate Partner’ agreement with the Law Society of England and Wales
Leaders in Cloud-based technology and digital agility for the legal sector, etiCloud, have signed a three-year agreement that will see the UK-based business become an affiliate partner with the Law Society of England and Wales.
Following a lengthy due diligence process, including a number of direct interviews with clients, the Law Society was particularly impressed by etiCloud’s customer excellence programme and its commitment to operating as a loyal, long-term partner to law firms.
“We already work with more than 200 law firms across the UK so becoming an affiliate partner with the Law Society is a natural progression for the company,” explains Jonathan Ashley, founder of etiCloud.
Continues Jonathan: “Having spent the last five years helping law firms to become more efficient and cost-effective through improved digital agility, we want to ensure that every Law Society member has access to the technologies and services they need to grow. It’s our job to help them excel in today’s complex tech world by enabling staff to work anywhere at any time.
“There are many ways in which we can support law firms to achieve their business objectives using the very latest Cloud technology. For example, our Agile Digital Workplace is a private business environment that securely holds all of your data and software applications and delivers uniformity for every single user in a firm.
“A fully bespoke solution exclusively using multiple IBM UK-based data centres, it supports all practice, case and document management systems along with additional supporting software. It also offers the opportunity to integrate any existing telephone system to create the optimum office and mobile working environment.”
Adds Jonathan: “Cyber security is a key issue for law firms with up to 60% reporting an information security incident based on the National Cyber Security Centre’s report to the Law Society*. That’s why each of the NCSC’s ‘10 Cyber Steps to Cyber Security’ are built into our Agile Digital Workplace as standard. Having sound remote working policies and procedures facilitates a secure baseline for all devices and protects corporate and client data both in transit and at rest.
“Cyber security awareness and risk should be a priority for any board, and we can advise on setting up a Risk Management Regime as part of the services we provide. Implementing our Agile Digital Workplace will help to inform cyber security policy and assist in protecting law firms against cyber attacks.”
Adds Simon Davis, president of the Law Society: “I am pleased with our new partnership with etiCloud – a leader in Cloud-based technology and digital agility. Their in-depth knowledge of the legal profession allows our members to benefit from their digital and cyber-secure products – which are more important than ever now many are working from home.”
Concludes Jonathan: “We’re really looking forward to developing a long-term, strategic relationship with the Law Society and its members through our affiliate partnership.”
